Would Anyone Want to Own A Car That Ran On Water?
Gas prices have risen, and risen, and risen once more, till right now $4 is almost a nasty reality. By the day more billions in profitearnings are being made by the oilmen, while ordinary folk find it increasingly difficult to put gas in the tank and generally sweat at stretching their budgets to previously unheard of limits. What if there existed other ways, a superior way, to be able to power your car or truck?
Through the years many products have been tested, but since they infringe on oil revenue, the tests have been halted. A simple peek at the gas gauge is enough to make anyone wish for a more affordable way to run their car. A most likely fantasy is cars that run on water – and there have been ads on the internet lately for exactly that. Is that fiction, or perhaps there is plenty of truth in it? Actually there are car manufacturers who are working on this possibility, and the future belonging to the automobile is that it may run on hydrogen made by water.
As we recognize from nature, water is really a literal powerhouse, so picturing a car run on the conversion of hydrogen and oxygen through water pressure is not that difficult. Cars like this already exist, even though the public is unaware of them. It required more than twenty years after conception before the electric motor vehicle came into public use. At this time, you would have to wait in a queue over a year-long to purchase a Smart Car of America, which is powered entirely by electricity. There’s no doubt concerning the desire to find a replacement for gasoline cars.
Quite some time previously, a conveniently inexpensive form of energy for cars was petrol, and for homes so was natural gas. Both kinds have consistently gotten higher, and gas has brought on lots of pollution. We should thank the guys who blew the whistle on the harmful effects of emissions, the environmentalists, but ironically they get held accountable instead. They were the ones that put up with the name calling and even worse, to make sure that the world’s water and air remained clean. We have them to thank for thinking of adding ethanol to gas to make it operate cleaner. We have to do much more, though, because oil prices, high as they are already, keep going up, and the major portion of our oil needs are met by foreign suppliers.
Imagine cutting out oil from abroad altogether, which would be achievable if a car that ran on hydrogen and oxygen combustion was successfully developed. Does it appear too good to be correct to use ordinary tap water to run your car? Both Ford and Chevrolet are currently researching a car that runs on hydrogen. Expect a huge waiting list when their hydrogen-powered vehicles are finally released, many years from now.
