The People Portal is an interactive art installation by Brinkley Warren. This video shows a prototype which was designed and built in late 2009 in association with an Art-X graduate class at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at The University of Georgia. The portal is designed to resemble a water well, and each contains a submerged lcd screen, computer, and web cam, and runs a computer program that was created in MAX/MSP/JITTER which allows for real-time video communication between “sister” wells …
