Adorable Western Wedding Favors and Gifts

Having favors at your wedding serves a variety of functions. It thanks the guests for coming, but it also acts as a great reminder of a very special moment that people treasure for years to come.

Are you looking for ideas for a country wedding? Get ready to do the two step and decorate your wedding reception as if it’s on a ranch or out in the Wild West.

If country is your theme then how about some old cowboy boots to pose as table centerpieces? You can do one of two things. Find some cheap ones at a low cost store (you only need one per table) and fill with a vase of flowers or find some miniature boots to hold some snacks like peanuts or pretzels.

You could also try placing a real western cowboy hat in the center of tables as well. You can buy some inexpensive ones or you can find some miniatures at hobby stores to fill with items like flowers or snacks.

Consider simply keeping the hat in the center of the tables and use it for place cards or add a bunch of photos to it that guests can pick up and look through! They can be excellent ice breakers.

To give your guests a real surprise you could even get a hat for each one of them. This way they can have something to put on when they hit the dance floor.

Your other options are pretty diversified. What about a gingham bandana or small burlap pouches filled with treats? For your centerpieces add old canning jars (you can buy these at second hand stores). Add a ribbon in a color matching the wedding party and whatever flowers you wish.

Still not certain? How about miniature cow bells with a piece of rope attached for hanging on a holiday tree? Or, contact a specialty company and have them create custom bottles of hot or barbecue sauce with your own private wedding label. Other good western symbols include the flag of Texas, hay bales, horse shoes, and garters.

A Wild West wedding can be a super fun theme and it’s also quite affordable since many of the items are everyday things you can re-use or find at second hand stores. Get some inspiration from old symbols and barbed wire and you can really come up with some interesting ideas too.

Take a look at some unique wedding favor ideas to help you find your country western wedding favors and reception table ideas.
